Juicy roast meat from the turkey
This piece of turkey meat comes from the turkey upper leg and is therefore ideal for stewing or frying. This is the so-called dark or red turkey meat. In contrast to turkey breast, it is mixed, has more taste of its own and must also be prepared differently. Although the roast meat has a little more fat than the turkey breast, it is still quite lean and remains juicy even when frying.
In the oven: about 1.5 hours at 150 °C in an open form or in a roasting hose.
In the pan: about 1 hour
